Ascent Investment Bank, Inc. is a Chicago based investment bank that focuses exclusively on conducting acquisition searches for private equity groups.  Ascent is currently under agreement to search for investment opportunities for 9 private equity groups that manage more than $50 billion in capital.  Ascent Investment Bank focuses on finding quality, fundamentally attractive acquisition candidates generally with more than $25 million in EBITDA and a minimum of $5 million in EBITDA.  Ascent is currently conducting acquisition searches for private equity groups in the following sectors:

• Media and publishing

• Healthcare.   

Among the acquisitions Ascent Investment Bank, which previously was named Pinnacle Investment Bank, has successfully sourced for private equity investors include:

• The acquisition of Central Security Group, a provider of alarm monitoring services, in an acquisition valued at $100 million.

• The acquisition of NACR, a communications systems integrator and dealer, in an acquisition valued greater than $50 million.

• The acquisition of Main Street National Bank, a small business banking company.

In order to provide an alignment of interests with its clients, Ascent co-invests in companies private equity groups buy through its affiliated investment fund, Ascent Equity Capital.
